Founded in 1953, the University of Forestry is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the metropolis of Sofia (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Sofia City. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria, University of Forestry (LTU) is a coeducational Bulgarian higher education institution. University of Forestry (LTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
