Founded in 1944, Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Yerevan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Gyumri, Vanadzor, Goris. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema (YSITC) is a coeducational Armenian higher education institution. Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema (YSITC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
