What are the most popular Universities in Armenia? uniRank tries to answer this question by publishing the 2021 Armenian University Ranking of 44 Armenian higher-education institutions meeting the following uniRank selection criteria:

  • being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Armenian higher education-related organization
  • offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees)
  • delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format

2021 Sub-rankings by provinces New

The Republic of Armenia is divided into 11 provinces (Armenian: marzer) and one autonomous city, Yerevan, which is the capital of the nation. Provinces are further subdivided into more than 500 Municipal Communities (Armenian: hamaynkner). The larger number of higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria are located in the autonomous city of Yerevan which is situated in the center of the country and is the most densely populated city of Armenia. The following uniRank league tables or sub-rankings take into consideration all administrative divisions which include at least 2 Armenian higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria.
