The Islamic University of Makassar (UIM) offers on-campus dormitory facilities to accommodate students during their studies. These dormitories consist of two 3-story buildings located within the campus.

Each room is furnished with beds, wardrobes, study desks, and chairs, ensuring that students have a suitable space for studying and resting. Furthermore, every room has a private bathroom, providing convenience and privacy for the residents.
In addition to the individual rooms, the UIM dormitory buildings offer various shared facilities. There is a dedicated study room equipped with study desks and chairs, enabling students to study in a focused environment. A lounge area with sofas and a television is available for relaxation and leisure activities during free time.
The dormitory buildings also provide dining facilities to cater to students' food needs. A well-equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and cooking utensils allows students to prepare their own meals. Alternatively, students can choose to purchase food outside the campus. A dining room with tables and chairs is provided for communal meals, fostering a sense of community among the residents.

Among the facilities offered at UIM are a volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis area, takraw court, and a dedicated Pencak Silat training field. Similarly, the UIM badminton court provides a complete set of facilities, including shuttlecocks, rackets, and nets. This enables students and faculty staff to engage in regular training sessions as well as friendly competitions among faculties or with other universities.
For those interested in table tennis, UIM offers a dedicated facility equipped with tables, balls, and rackets. Students and faculty members can enjoy the sport as a form of recreation or engage in competitive matches.
In addition to these popular sports, UIM also provides facilities for traditional Indonesian games such as takraw. The court for takraw is available for students and faculty staff to enjoy this cultural sport within the university premises.
UIM also offers facilities for petanque, a sport originating from France. The petanque court is complete with petanque balls and measuring equipment, allowing individuals to experience this unique and engaging game.
Lastly, UIM recognizes the significance of preserving Indonesian martial arts and has established a dedicated Pencak Silat training field. Equipped with appropriate training equipment and tools, the facility provides students and faculty staff with the opportunity to learn and practice Pencak Silat techniques and movements.
