Established in 1999, the Busoga University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Iganga (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Eastern Region. This institution also has branch campuses in Jinja, Kamuli, Bugiri, Kaliro and Pallisa. Officially recognized by the The National Council for Higher Education of Uganda, Busoga University (BU) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational Ugandan higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Anglican religion.
