Established in 1939, Middle East University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large city of Beirut (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l'Education et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Liban (Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Lebanon), Middle East University (MEU) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: under-250 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Adventist religion. Middle East University (MEU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
