  • Completion of five O-level subjects and at least two A-level subjects with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  1. Master of Business Administration (MBA):
  • Regular: Minimum 6 points up to graduation from any group or equivalent.

Daffodil International University (DIU) provides financial support to students through its scholarship and waiver programs. The university aims to assist poor and meritorious students in completing their higher education without interruptions. DIU offers scholarships and waivers based on academic results and specific conditions. Each year, more than 19,867 students benefit from these opportunities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, DIU also provided a special waiver to support students in continuing their studies.

To be eligible for scholarships and tuition fee waivers, undergraduate students must enroll in at least 12 credits per semester, while postgraduate students must enroll in at least 9 credits. However, this requirement can be adjusted for departments offering fewer credits. Additionally, students must achieve a minimum grade of 3.00 in English I and II to maintain the waiver.

DIU offers various scholarships, including the Talent Hunt Scholarship, Chairman Endowment Fund, Mofiz Uddin Majumder Scholarship Fund, Delwar Hossain Chowdhury Scholarship Fund, and Razia Begum Scholarship Fund. These scholarships aim to support talented students and provide them with financial assistance to pursue their education at DIU.

  • Transfer of Credits: Transfer of credits is applicable only for government universities/institutions in the host country. Students must apply to the Registrar and provide original transcripts and syllabi. DIU will accept credits for successful completion of courses within the program.
  1. Inbound Exchange Program:
  • Eligibility: Foreign students from government universities/institutions who have obtained a minimum grade of "B" or equivalent in their home university.
  • Application Process: Students must apply through the Director of International Affairs at their home university and include original transcripts and relevant documents. Proficiency in English is required.
  • Fees: Registration, tuition, residential requirements, and other fees are charged as per existing university rules. Tuition fees may be waived based on agreements between the universities.
  • Academic Requirements: After completing courses at DIU, students will receive an official transcript/certificate for those courses.
  1. Academic Staff Exchange:
  • Eligibility: Permanent faculty members who have served DIU for at least three years.
  • Application Process: Faculty members apply through their department head and faculty dean to the Director of International Affairs. The Vice-Chancellor approves the exchange program.
  • Duration and Benefits: The exchange program has a maximum duration of one semester, with the possibility of extension based on agreements. Participating faculty members receive salary, allowances, benefits, and provident fund from their home university. They also receive allowances related to travel and living expenses as per the program's conditions.
  • Visa and Travel: The office of the Director of International Affairs manages visa and travel arrangements.
