  • Proof of English proficiency, demonstrated through one of the following:
    • A score of at least 72 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
    • A score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
    • Successful completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language School (ELS) or a certificate of completion of program from an English Language Institute (ELI), along with a recommendation of the program director.
    • Duolingo test with a minimum score of 95.

2) Graduate Admission Requirements:

  • A completed Concordia University Chicago admission application.
  • A completed objective statement that provides information on future educational goals.
  • Proof of English proficiency, demonstrated through one of the following:
    • A score of at least 72 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
    • A score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
    • A score of 95 minimum on the Duolingo Test.
    • Successful completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language School (ELS) or a certificate of completion of program from an English Language Institute (ELI), along with a recommendation of the program director.
  • Official, sealed transcripts from the institutions where degrees were earned, with certified English translations.
  • Foreign transcript evaluation by a Concordia-approved international credentialing service (e.g., WES or ECE).
  • A certified document pledging financial support for the first year of study and subsequent years.
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with academic proficiency and professional work.
  • At least 12 prerequisite credit hours at the undergraduate level in a relevant discipline.
  • A professional resume.

3) MBA Admission Requirements:

  • Admission Application and Objective Statement: Provide information on future educational goals and objectives related to pursuing graduate work at Concordia University Chicago.
  • English Language Proficiency, demonstrated through one of the following:
    • A score of at least 72 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
    • A score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
    • Michigan test score of at least 85.
    • 61 on the Pearson Test of English (PTE).
    • Successful completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language School (ELS) or a certificate of completion of program from an English Language Institute (ELI), along with a recommendation of the program director.
    • King George International College (KGIC) English for Post-Secondary Education (EPE) final proficiency test scores of 75% with a passing class score of 80 will also be accepted for language proficiency.
  • Official Transcripts from institutions where degrees were earned, with certified English translations.
  • Foreign Transcript Evaluation by a Concordia-approved international credentialing service (e.g., WES or ECE).
  • Two Letters of Recommendation, from individuals familiar with academic proficiency, personal character, and competence in professional work.
  • Declaration of Finances: Submit a certified document pledging financial support for the first year of study, verifying the same or equally dependable source for the following year(s) of study.
  • Prerequisite Credit: Have at least 12 credit hours at the undergraduate level in a discipline appropriate to the program of application.
