Established in 1837, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Athens (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Attica. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: over-50,000 students) coeducational Greek higher education institution.
