Established in 1998, University College of Applied Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Gaza City (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Gaza Strip. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Palestinian Territory, University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational Palestinian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
