Established in 1997, Beykent Üniversitesi (Beykent University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Istanbul. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Beykent Üniversitesi (BU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational Turkish higher education institution.
