Established in 2003, the TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi (TOBB University of Economics and Technology) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Ankara (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi (TOBB ETÜ) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Turkish higher education institution.
