Founded in 1951, the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg (Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg) is a government ministry responsible for the development and implementation of policies related to science, research and the arts in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Its main tasks include:
- Developing and implementing policies related to higher education, scientific research and the arts.
- Overseeing and managing public universities, research institutions, museums and other cultural institutions.
- Supporting and promoting scientific research and innovation.
- Developing policies and initiatives related to international cooperation in education and research.
The Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg works to ensure that all citizens of Baden-Württemberg have access to quality education and training opportunities, as well as opportunities for scientific research, artistic expression and international cooperation.
