Founded in 1990, Universidad del Desarrollo (University for Development) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the metropolis of Santiago (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Metropolitan Region. Officially accredited/recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Educación, Chile (English: National Council of Education, Chile), Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as undergraduate certificates/diplomas, bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 26 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
