Founded in 1918, Taurida National University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the small city of Simferopol (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Taurida National University (TNU) is a large (enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Taurida National University (TNU) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 98 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this Ukrainian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
