Founded in 1981, Universitas Narotama (Narotama University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the rural setting of the large city of Surabaya (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Narotama (UNNAR) is a very small (enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universitas Narotama (UNNAR) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 35 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Indonesian higher education organization a least selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UNNAR also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sport facilities and/or activities, as well as administrative services.
