What are the most popular Universities in Serbia? uniRank tries to answer this question by publishing the 2021 Serbian University Ranking of 22 Serbian higher-education institutions meeting the following uniRank selection criteria:

  • being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Serbian higher education-related organization
  • offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees)
  • delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format

2021 Sub-rankings by regions

The Republic of Serbia is divided into 5 statistical regions (Serbian: statisticki regioni), which are further subdivided into 29 districts. The larger number of higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria are located in the statistical regions of Belgrade, which hosts the largest and capital city of Belgrade, and autonomous province of Kosovo and Metohija (or self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo). The following uniRank sub-rankings or league tables take into account all regions which include at least 2 Serbian higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria.
