What are the most popular Universities in Jordan? uniRank tries to answer this question by publishing the 2021 Jordanian University Ranking of 30 Jordanian higher-education institutions meeting the following uniRank selection criteria:

  • being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Jordanian higher education-related organization
  • offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees)
  • delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format

2021 Sub-rankings by governorates

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is divided into 12 governorates (Arabic: muhafatha) which are further subdivided into districts (Arabic: liwa). The larger number of higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria are located in the governorate of Amman (officially Muhafazat al-Asima), which hosts the capital and largest city of Amman. The following uniRank league tables or sub-rankings take into consideration all governorates which include at least 2 Jordanian higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria.
