  • being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Israeli higher education-related organization
  • offering at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees)
  • delivering courses predominantly in a traditional, face-to-face, non-distance education format

2021 Sub-rankings by districts

The State of Israel is divided into 6 districts (Hebrew: mehozot) which are further subdivided into sub-districts (Hebrew: nafot). The greater number of higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria are located in the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem districts. The following uniRank sub-rankings or league tables take into account all districts which include at least 2 Israeli higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria.
