2021 Sub-rankings by provinces

The Argentine Republic is divided into 23 provinces (Spanish: provincias) and one autonomous city (Spanish: Ciudad autónoma), Buenos Aires, which is the federal capital of the nation. Provinces are further subdivided into departments (Spanish: departamentos) and municipalities (Spanish: municipios). The greater number of higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria are located in the autonomous city of Buenos Aires and in the province of Buenos Aires which are both situated in the east of the country and are respectively the most densely populated city and province of Argentina. The following uniRank sub-rankings or league tables take into account all administrative divisions which include at least 2 Argentine higher education institutions meeting the uniRank selection criteria.
