Founded in 2001, Bowen University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the small city of Iwo (population range: 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Osun. Officially accredited/recognized by the National Universities Commission, Nigeria, Bowen University (BUI) is a small (enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Baptist religion. Bowen University (BUI) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
