Established in 1998, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (English: Islamic Science University of Malaysia) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Nilai (population range: 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Negeri Sembilan. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 18 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. USIM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sport facilities and/or activities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
