Established in 1992, the University for Development Studies is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Tamale (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Northern Region. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana, University for Development Studies (UDS) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution.
