Founded in 1995, the Meybod University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Meybod (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Yazd. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Meybod University is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Meybod University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 29-year-old Iranian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic records and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
