568 Presidents Group

Overview

Founded in 1998, the 568 Group is a consortium of US universities and colleges practicing need-blind admissions, an admission policy adopted in the United States that does not consider an applicant's financial situation when deciding admission. The Group's main aim is to develop and maintain a need-based financial aid system that is understandable and fair and will promote greater transparency, simplicity, and equity to the process of assessing each family's ability to pay for higher education through a Consensus Approach Methodology consisting of a set of common standards.
