Founded in 1992, the University of Namibia is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Windhoek (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in Oshakati, Henties Bay, Neudam, Ogongo, Keetmanshoop, Katima Mulilo, Rundu and Ongwediva. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture of Namibia, University of Namibia (UNAM) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational Namibian higher education institution. University of Namibia (UNAM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
