Founded in 1966, the Morehead State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of Morehead (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Kentucky. This institution also has branch campuses in Ashland, Jackson, Mt. Sterling, Prestonsburg and West Liberty.
