Founded in 1912, Ateneo de Zamboanga University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Zamboanga City (population range: 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Zamboanga Peninsula. Officially accredited/recognized by the Commission on Higher Education, Philippines, Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) is a coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic ((Jesuit)) religion.
