Established in 1949, the University of Miyazaki (Miyazaki Daigaku) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium city of Miyazaki (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, University of Miyazaki (UoM) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational Japanese higher education institution.
