Founded in 2005, German Jordanian University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large city of Amman (population range: 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Jordan, German Jordanian University (GJU) is a small (enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. German Jordanian University (GJU) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as undergraduate certificates/diplomas, bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 11 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. GJU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sport facilities and/or activities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
