Established in 1972, Universiteti Eqrem Çabej Gjirokastrës (English: Eqrem Çabej University of Gjirokastra) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Gjirokastër (population range: 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Gjirokaster.
