Founded in 2001, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the suburban setting of the small city of Tangail (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Dhaka. Officially accredited/recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) is a very small (enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution.
