Established in 1957, Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila (English: Autonomous University of Coahuila) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Saltillo (population range: 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Coahuila. This institution has also branch campuses in the following locations: Ciudad Acuña, Monclova, Nueva Rosita, Piedras Negras, San Pedro de las Colonias, Saltillo, Torreón.
