Founded in 1982, Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (Soegijapranata Catholic University) is a private higher education institution located in the the suburban setting of the large city of Semarang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Central Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (SCU) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (SCU) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
