Founded in 1955, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (Parahyangan Catholic University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Bandung (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.
