Established in 1964, Universitas Jember (University of Jember) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large city of Jember (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), East Java. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Jember (UNEJ) is a large (enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universitas Jember (UNEJ) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as undergraduate certificates/diplomas, bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 52 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
