Established in 1966, Universitas Pancasila (Pancasila University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the rural setting of the metropolis of Jakarta (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Jakarta SCR. Officially accredited/recognized by the Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (English: Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia), Universitas Pancasila (UP) is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Universitas Pancasila (UP) offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 50 years old HE institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Indonesian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
