Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda

Founded in 1964, the Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda is the government agency responsible for overseeing the education system and sports programs in Uganda, a landlocked country located in East Africa. Its primary role is to ensure that all citizens have access to high-quality education and sports programs that meet national standards.

The Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda is responsible for developing and implementing education policies and programs, as well as managing the education and sports budgets. It supervises the work of educational and sports institutions in the country, including primary, secondary and tertiary education, as well as amateur and professional sports.

The ministry also places great importance on the preservation of Uganda's cultural heritage, with a curriculum that includes the study of local history, culture and language. In addition, the ministry works to promote gender equality in education and sports and to ensure that all children, including those with disabilities, have access to education and sports programs.
